Picked, not tested. Everything here is something I would buy, chosen on specs, makers and reputation rather than hands-on reviews. Some links earn us a commission at no extra cost to you; it never decides what makes the list. How we pick
Gamers are hard to shop for because they already own the basics. This list skips the basics. Everything comes from our Gaming Gear page , plus the games themselves from our Star Wars and LOTR pages: the upgrades a gamer would actually want, from a $10 classic RPG to a 45-inch OLED.
Console prices are up across the board in 2026, so treat these as gifts, not bargains. Prices were checked on October 9–10, 2026; the store’s price wins.
